Article I: Identity

Section 1: Name.
The organisation shall be known worldwide as Association of International Ministers.
Every country will carry her initial letter /s behind the AIM acronym.
The abbreviation for the body in Switzerland will be AIMS (AIM of Switzerland.)

Section 2: Autonomy of members.
The organisation shall function as independent body consisting of member ministers from independent Churches.

Article II: Purpose

Section 1: Vision.
The vision of AIM is to promote unity and co-operation among members in carrying out Jesus’ last commission (Matt 28:19.)
AIM aims to achieve among its members the following 7 aims.
1) Salvation: Joint commitment to the effective spreading of the gospel all over the world
(Mark 1: 15; Matt 4: 10).
2) Spirituality: Dedication to spiritual growth and development of members through regular fellowship, worship, spiritual mentoring and parenting etc. (Rom 8:1,6; Col 1: 28).
3) Service: Participation in convention, crusades, music outreach etc. (Philip 2: 3-5).
4) Sharing: Sharing love of God, experience, co-operation, networks and encouragement of
other vital exchanges in ministries. (Gal 6:10; 1 Cor 1: 10).
5) Support: Offering mutual supports (spiritual, physical, financial etc) to buoy up projects /
activities of members i.e. Bible School, Training etc. (Acts 20:25).
6) Strengthen: Assist member ministers /churches in achieving excellence through enhanced education, equipping with resources, networking etc (Prov 27: 17).
7) Socialisation: Organise recreational activities to promote bonding and relaxation. (Pr 18:24).

Section 2: Mission
1) Networking and regular meetings among member ministers
2) Exchange of resources, visits and programs among members
3) Enhancement of communication through Newsletter and web sites (both as individuals and corporate body.)
4) Dedication to the furtherance of spiritual growth among members through organisation of conferences,seminars, and exchange of resources
5) Supporting the spread of gospel through joint sponsorship of crusades, conferences, projects etc

Article III: Leadership

At the last meeting of a relevant year, there will be election in to all the vacant positions.
Every competing candidate needs to collect signatures of a tenth of the members.

Section 1: Board of Directors (3 yearly) Exists only on international level.
1) The Board of Directors, led by the visionary / Facilitator as the Chairperson,
is the international think-thank and policy co-ordinator of the body.
It is responsible for planning the visions, policies, budget, approve disciplinary actions,
organise elections and designate a nominating committee to compile the official ballot prior
to international and national election. National executives and representatives elect members every three years.
2) The chairperson (visionary), incumbent occupants of international executive body
(president, accountant, General secretary etc) and international heads of different
departments of the body shall be automatic members of the Board of Directors.
3) The Board shall meet minimally, twice every year.
The first meeting is to propose budget and approve programs and events for the year while
the last meeting is to close the accounts and reports of the year and supervise election to vacant offices.

Section 2: The executive body (2 yearly) Exists at International and national level.
1) This body administers the policies of the body and is led by an executive president.
2) All the positions shall be rotated on zonal basis (Geneva, Lugano and Zurich.)
3) The body shall minimally contain President, Deputy President, General Secretary and Treasurer.
i) The President: This shall the presiding officer for the association.
ii) The Deputy President: This shall be the assistant to the presiding officer.
In case of absence of the President, the DP oversees the activities of the association.
iii) General Secretary. Handles diverse communication among members.
Supervises and co-ordinates all events and activities of members
(independent programs, joint sponsorship of conferences and conventions etc.)
She/he ensures absence of clashes in programs and distributes members evenly to
attend different occasion where such clashes are unavoidable.
iv) Treasurer: S/he collects and handles the finance of the association for the year.
4) The election to international executive position shall be on zonal basis.

Section 3: Head of departments (2 yearly) Exists at International and national level.
1) Different Head of departments shall be elected by the membership every two years.
2) The heads of departments shall manage the activities of their different departments.
3) Departments include Outreach and conventions, Projects (exchange programs, aids) Discipline, Communication (publications, Books, web site, magazines), Social etc

Section 4: Miscellaneous:
Other offices, committees and commissions may be organised as considered necessary by
members and officials both at the local and international level.

Article IV: Structure

Section 1: Membership (Yearly)
1) This refers to all registered participants in the activities of AIM.
2) Members shall sponsor and participate in all the activities of the body.
3) Leadership of the body is only selected / elected among members.
4) All facilities of the association are equally accessible to all members.

Section 2:Types of membership
1. Full Membership: Opens only to practising ordained ministers / pastors.
2. Associate Membership: Opens to invited pastors, colleagues of member pastors,
unordained practising ministers or people involved in related services.
P.S. Associate members have all the benefits and privileges of full membership with the
exception of voting privileges and board membership.
3. Membership rules.
i) Intending member should attend minimum of two meetings as an observer.
Membership could be attained after the end of the probationer period.
ii) AIM reserves right to accept / refuse application for membership.
It can also expel any member found wanting in integrity or found guilty of any misconduct.
iii) Membership of the association is terminable at will.

Section 3: Annual membership dues:
For every member and associate member: SFr. 150.00 or US Dollar or Euro equivalent.

Section 4: Official Language
All the activities of the association will be run in English.
Additional languages may be used in communication if officially approved by the majority of the members.

Article V: Meetings

Section 1: There shall be minimum of two yearly meetings of members.
Section 2: The president as agreed by majority of the executives could summon additional meeting.
Section 3: All normal meetings shall be announced by the general secretary as determined by the president at least 21 days in advance.
Section 4: A member in urgent need could summon emergency meeting through the office of the president.

Invitation: This body is opened to every practising minister of God
who is interested in sharing fellowship (with) and securing support of other men of God in his / her service to God.
